WorkLinks workforce management software offers functionality to help you mitigate the impact of employee absences, with a fully configurable Accumulators rules engine. Accumulators track benefits accruals and exception time to assist in daily operational efficiencies, statistical analysis and cost control.
WorkLinks takes the guess-work out of employee accruals and entitlements. By automating the tracking and management of all time categories for both hourly and salaried employees, you'll eliminate the spreadsheets and paper-chasing associated with manual absence requests and reporting. These efficiencies will help free up the valuable time of your HR staff and improve the accuracy of your payroll and HR data, as well as ensuring compliance with legislative leave requirements and company policies.
The WorkLinks Rules Engine enables you to configure the application to automatically credit all accrual balances as they accumulate, according to pre-defined company policies and collective agreements rules, and to deduct from those balances when the time in each category is used.
The maximum balance allowable for carryovers from year to year can be defined for each time category. You can even choose to have the system automatically 'borrow' time from another category when the balance in the requested category has been depleted.
Paperless Absences Tracking
When scheduling staff or responding to vacation requests, supervisors and managers can quickly consult an employee's Accumulator balances to view the number of hours accumulated, used and available, prior to granting or declining an absence request.
Employees can request time off electronically; the request appears as a "pending item" for their manager's attention, and if approved, will be recorded as a scheduled absence: no more emails back and forth or misplaced sticky notes! Best of all, the approved absence will already be in the schedule when that future date arrives, reducing the likelihood of accidental understaffing.
The Pendylum system is designed to automatically update the appropriate accruals balance according to the type of pay category approved in the time sheet. It can be configured so that salaried employees' time is tracked and visible on time sheets for purposes of accruals management, but without requiring that time sheets be approved or affecting payroll.
Employee/Manager Self Service
